There is no doubt the human tragedy that is happening is heart breaking. but I have been amazed when i compare the reaction that I have seen in many western countries about much limited number of assylum seeker or professional immigrants. few years ago in a survey by BBC persian, one of Afghani friends had admired the facilities that he recieved from canadian goverment as a assylum seeker in comparison to Iran, but i have no doubt half of politicians in west will loose their jobs if they have to help 3 milions peolpe from another country

I donot know any country in modern history who has been looking after 3to 4 milion refugess fo a long period of years 20

This double standard of preaching countries like Iran and not to raise a finger to help is very common and is reflected in news programs of big medias like BBC or CNN when only a selective aprt of facts are shown

.It is ineresting that despite much more needs the Americans send beutician to train afghani ladies about how to go ahead with fashion. Just alook on some investigative journalist programs like Panorama shows how a good part of aids fro m wetern world goes back to pockets of wetern comapnies
